Just to comment on a few things in case any of you have a Publix nearby, the following items (or similar) also listed in the Albertson's ad are cheaper at Publix...

"WHOLLY Guacamole or Salsa, 2/$4
7 - 12 oz. [page 6]
Wholly Guacamole Or Salsa, Any - 01-04-09 SS $0.50/1
Wholly Guacamole Or Salsa, Any - 01-04-09 SS $1.00/1
***This is a pretty good deal. Though last year it went on sale for $1 each and I got it free. I am gonna hold out as I still have some in the freezer! If you need it though, this is good. Q expires end of Feb."
Bummer it's not free this year. :shrug7:If any Guac will do or if you need other dips, Publix has the Dean's Ranch, Guacamole or Sour Cream & Onion BOGO at $1.89 and with $1/2 1/25/08 SS you're paying about $.45 each.

Also instead of doing a coupon with the 2 for $5 Nabisco products (Wheat Thins, Triscuits, etc.) Publix has them BOGO for $2.99 and with $2/2 1/25/08 SS you'll be paying $.50/box

Thanks for the Johnsonville rebate info. I repped ya! Do you have any idea what kind of expiration date I might see on the GC? It's tempting to buy 6 @ $2.99, use 2 $5 off coupons and go for the rebate GC. Trying to decide if that it a wise choice.

FYI, the $5 off 3 coupon prints small. I can't read the fine print and the barcode is a little blurry. Hoping my Albertson's accepts it.

The 99cent deal on the Ragu is if you use the coupon that is in the circular. Was the coupon not in your circular? This was the one that was mailed to me. Don't know if the coupons are in the store version of the ad...

I'm not sure if my ad is different at Publix, but mine has Deam's dips for 1.99 and the Nabisco products for 3.39.

Sorry - I think I'm learning today that there are some regional price differences. I'm in Florida south of Tampa and I found another difference earlier. My apologies for the post now that I realize it may not apply to all. I'm still learning a lot.

The store version of the ad does not have the$5/50, Ragu, OJ, Cream Cheese or Cigarette coupons...only the meat.

My mailman doesn't deliver the ad until Thursday at the earliest & I like to use the $5/50 at Publix so it throws a wrench in my plans when I shop first thing on Thursday AM, LOL.

I'm not sure when the GC expires. I didn't see that info on the site where I got the info for the rebate.

The Johnsonville coupon scanned, but it does beep & says "unmatched item." The cashier at my store manually deducted it though.

Never apologize for posting an FYI!!! It is appreciated and even if prices are a bit different it is still good to get a heads up. Besides, we need some ACTION in this forum so I am just thrilled to see ya'll posting! I remember just a month or so ago it was DEAD in here!!

That is too bad that you don't get it on Tuesday. I can totally understand about wanting to use the coupon and having to wait.

Too bad the other q's are not in the in store ad. Albertsons is really tightening up on thier store q's. I used to find the $5/50 in the in store ads. I think they are messing up in my opinion. I won't be surprised if they don't survive this recession. They have great meat sales but are really lacking in the other areas and then to top it off they are very stingy with the store coupons. Now, of course I hope they survive, just saying...

Hmmm. Maybe I just need to use it at Publix. Same sale. And won't have to stand there at Albertsons in 'fear' that the cashier will deny me the coupon since it beeps.

Besides, I don't see $50 worth of anything to get at Albertson's and I surely do at Publix so I can use the $5 off $50 there...

At $6.99 BOGO minus $2 they were $2.50 each.

My store took the Johnsonville coupons fine even though they did not scan.
