QUESTION Is your store still accepting IP coupons?

I have heard from someone on one of my other groups and a friend of mine that effective immediately, Albertsons LLC will no longer accept any internet printed coupons.

The gal on the group called and complained as she thought it was a store level decision and corporate called her back and said its true that they will no longer take any kind of internet printed coupon.

Wonder if it just in the Central Florida area?

I tried on Thursday night to use internet coupons for Coffee Mate and one from coke Rewards and was told they couldn't accept them any longer per a letter they received from Albertson's head quarters.
I then called the customer care number on the website and a filed a complant. She said the store director would call the next day. Well it wasn't the store director but a lady from head quarters informing me that do to counterfit coupons they would no longer take IP coupons...

I just spoke to the manager at my store on lithia in Valrico FL. He said as long as it does not make the item free, they accept IP's.

I am soooooooo over the stores not accepting q's that make an item free. What is up with that? If the manu is reimbursing then why make that stipulation? Whatever...that is a top for hot under the collar so I will get off my rant!!

Anyway, call your store - I think this is a ymmv thing.

I guess I will find out soon enough. My Albertsons has a self check out so I don't see how they will not accept them.
What Walmart did was tape up the coupon holding box by all their self check out registers because too many customers were keeping the coupons after scanning them! I have never done something like that and it angers me that because of those customers people like me end up paying.

I used IP coupons like a week ago so I have not been back to Albertsons since then.

I bought a bunch of $1/1 Scott's toilett paper. They are regular insert Q's
but it would make the item free since Albie's always has those $1 Scott toilett paper specials . But Albie's wont accept a coupon that makes an item free? I don't understand why? the MF will pay them the $1 ...:hectic1:

If my albies refuses to allow me to use a newspaper insert q because it makes an item free I will be all over talking to management and corp. They can make all the silly rules about IP's they want but as far as I am concerned, my newspaper inserts are off limits for denial. It is bad enough that they price adjust and still get reimbursed the full value of MY coupon.

The other day I had two $5 coupons if you bought 3 Johnsonville Brats. It wouldn't ring up and the manager came over. He asked if they were copies and I said no, they were printed on a black and white printer. Then he said that I could only use 1 coupon and I asked why since I bought 6 brats. He said he would do it "this" time and rang them thru.

Then a friend of mine tried to use the soup coupons which would make it free and they wouldn't let him.

    This was in Orlando

I am hesitant to use my Progresso IP’s on their sale. I seriously hate having issues at the register. I have a feeling that since this particular q will make the soup free, they won’t accept it. But that is at my store. You may be able to get them to price adjust it to 99 cents and then pay 1 cent for each can. I may decide to go in this weekend and talk to the manager before making my purchase.

I used it yesterday at the self check out. The coupon said Unmatched item. The cashier had no problem at all when she walked over. She didnt even question the Q, she adjusted it to $1 and I got both cans for free.
I was super nervous when the Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage were free and I got well over a dozen boxes and paid $0 OOP
