    QUESTION Good Price?

I have the Albertsons ad for the sale starting 2/4/10 (forgive me, I don't have it with me where I am). But I do remember the Ballpark Franks being on sale for $2. I have a ton of coupons for $1/2 for these. So, after coupons they would be $1.50 each. I haven't bought hot dogs in a VERY long time (or priced them, either). Do you think this is a good deal? They are also having a P & G sale. Buy $40 get $10 off instantly, and they are having some kind of deal where Pepsi products will end up being $1.88 a 12 pack. I know you have to buy so many in conjunction with something else, but I can't remember at the moment. Sorry!

I never pay more than .50 for hot dogs. I got ballpark on sale for .99 around Labor Day, using $1/2 made them .49 each.

Also, Albertsons had a P&G sale not too long ago that was $10 off when you spend $30, so this one is not as good, the sale prices on the P&G stuff is about the same.

The pepsi and Doritos are on sale 4/$10. You have to buy 4 pepsi and 4 doritos (or lays) for $20, and save $5 instantly.
And, since we're in TX, the Dr. Pepper is almost always a better deal, and they seem to have coupons floating around in our area more often than other brands.

Thanks for the help! Our local Albie's had the P & G spend $50 get $10 off - and you had to purchase another $100 in your cart. Unfortunately hubby won't drink Dr Pepper & I can't find coupons for Pepsi very often. I can find Coke coupons at CVS, but that's about it.

Where are you at, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Abilene, and we have HEB, Albie's, United, and Walmart. We also have Save a lot & Lawrence Brothers. I could go to the commissary, but it is such a hassle for me sometimes.

    I'm in Carrollton.

As far as sodas go, I understand being picky, I know I am. Actually it's not a bad deal, I'll buy anything under $2 and stockup at $1.50 or less per 12pk. The only reason I'm not doing this deal is because we don't eat chips.

We don't eat them much either. I ususally take the corn chips/tortilla chips & crush them into crumbs in the food pro. Then I mix them with chili powder & coat chicken or fish & oven bake. Only problem I have now is my freezer is too full! They are also having BOGO on ground turkey. Hubby won't eat ground beef. So, if it is a decent price, I may try to find a place for some.
