Albertsons (Dallas/Ft. Worth) ~ Other: Glad I found this place, are there others?

I know this is not in the right place but Carnival Food Stores (used to be owned by Minyards now Fiesta Foods) on 28th & Main (Fort Worth), mail out a $10 off w/purch of $25 Q quite often and it has no restrictions whatsoever. At times they do it once a week. My mother gives me the Q when it comes in... Not to mention they have the cheapest, crazy cheap, and best quality produce hands down. All my friends I take over there are amazed and buy all their produce from them now.

The Albies 5 off 50 Q is AFTER all Q's and discounts have been applied....or so it says in the fine print...

I don't have any carnival by me but I do go to Fiesta and usually they have great prices on meat & produce. They are also my fave place to go look for qs b/c they usually have rare q's & hispanic food qs.

As for the Albies it does say that but I have been able to use it before MQs.

Yep. Fiesta and Carnival are both at the same intersection here in North Fort Worth (28th and North Main) and you are right. I get lots of Q's from those stores. Mainly because most Latino's don't coupon. I myself am a Latino male and am amazed that others do not.

I buy 75% of my meat and 100% of my produce from both of them. It is by far more fresh (meat/ produce) and less expensive than any other store. All my Caucasian friends that I take over there cannot believe the prices and the quality of them both.

But of course the downside is that you dare not buy anything else because the prices are soooo dang high!

BTW the trick to getting the 10% before coupons is to go to self-checkout tell 'em to give you the discount then scan coupons. HTH

The Albies in Saginaw no longer has true Self Check Out (removed a few months ago)...they have the Assisted Check Out lanes that don't have a touchscreen. It is like a Fast Lane with a Cashier and a tiny place to write a check at...

Albertson's weekly ads are just a mumble jumble as far as I am concerned. And their cashiers are not well trained. I just get too upset when I do go there.
