Re: Albertsons 11/4 to 11/10 I tried to do 6 secrets, 2 gillette deos and 2 gillette bodywashes. I did two transactions..exactly the same. I had 4 .50/1 secret, 2 b2g1, 2 $1/1 gillette deo and 2 bdeo get bodywash free.
As soon as I got to my turn, the cashier asked if I had coupons, I said yes and she said to give them to her so she could check them. I was arranging them and , who I assume was front end manager) said give her the coupons. I said hold on please, I'm making sure I have the correct ones.
The cashier then proceeded to scan them and was so erratic about it. Total was $5+ when I knew it should have been less. Second total was $15..exact same things. I asked the cashier to please not put up the coupons because I was going to the service desk.
She then bagged my things and took them to CS and told the FEM that I had a problem.
The FEM gets the coupons and receipts and starts trying to figure out what goes where. I tried to help her and she held up her hand like stop and said to hold on, we were going to do one at a time. Duh! She then said it was correct. No.....I told her that the bodywash coupon was not taken off as well as a .50 secret q. She started to count the receipt and said I tried to use 6 .50/1 on them. Noo...you're counting where it multiplied. Oh. Then she tells the actual CS cashier that I was owed those two coupons. While going through the next one, I tried to point out that the free secret was inputed as $2.29 instead of $2.69. She rolled her eyes at me. I then realized that the $10 promo didn't come off. She says "Oh, that's random." WTF? So she says receipt correct. No! The secret was incorrect and the promo didn't come off. She walks off telling CS cashier to refund me the two from the first transaction.
The CS cashier says "Oh, I have a headache." I got fed up and told her to please refund me the 2nd transaction and I didn't care about getting the coupons back. She then calls the FEM manager back and says I want a refund. The FEM manager APOLOGIZES to her. "I'm sorry Brandi" Brandi then says "I knew I should have called in today" Ughh!!! I ask for the store manager and she says "Oh, he was up here a minute ago." I get my money and get ready to leave when I see him.
He smiled so friendly and asked how he could help me. I told him the story and asked why did she even come in if she's already got a headache so early in the day? And why was the FEM apologizing to her as if I was trouble? He said he would be upset too and sounded sincere enough. I do not like to complain and was about to start shaking. I've had issues with a lady at a Kroger but that's about it.
