    News Store Closing

I am sorry if this is a repeat. I looked but, didn't see anything about this but, I could have missed it :shrug7:

The store that is in Hurst, Precinct Line Road and 183 is going out of business. I just stopped in yesterday for a little bit and they were pretty busy. They are not honoring the albertson's ad but, i did ask and they are still taking coupons but, not doubling or tripling them. I am going to try make it up there today and I will find out for sure about the coupons. Most of the groceries are 10 to 15 percent off. All cosmetics and health and beauty seem to be 50 to 60 percent off. Even if they only give us face value of the coupons if the percentages off plus coupons could provide some great deals.

I will post any more info that I come across

Stopped in on my way home from work today.

Grocery is at 15% and there is still a lot. The candy and chip isle have been cleared out for the most part.
Beer and wine 25%. The beer is gone, but still lots of wine.
General merchandise is 50% this includes health and beauty stuff, medicine and seasonal merchandise
Greeting cards are 70% and still a lot left

    They were still taking coupons!

Also a store in Arlington is also closing. Collins just north of 30. Same stuff, but that store is more of a mess.

Last time I was in there, the CS guy said they would not be doing any further discounts. They will stay open until 9/13 and then all merchandise would go to the Bedford store. They are only taking coupons at face value and not accepting returns on most items.
