Albertsons (Dallas/Ft. Worth) ~ Vent: I am so over Albertsons

I have been couponing for years and know the rules of the game. I will not and do not use coupons on items that the coupon is not specified for. But it seems that everytime I get to Albertsons there's a issue.

My problem was with the store cps and the manufactuers cps being used together. I went the store over on Cooper in Arlington and the cashier said I cant use them both, I politely said okay. She proceeded to check me out but only scanning half of my cps. Then she wanted to look back through the stuff she just scanned to match the items. At that point I was like "BEAT ME!" It took me 5 minutes to gather my items in the store and 20 mins. at the register.

I called the corporate office and was advised that it is at the store director's decrection if they choose to allow the customers to use both. I then stated that if the stores aren't franchised, why isn't everyone on one accord. She stated that she just did not know.

Albertson has become really embrassing to me as a customer. Not because of the fact I use coupons. I love coupons and love to convert people to using coupons. But the looks and stares you get when you are the person that manager is rumbling through the bags and stating "You can't do that" or " Check and see if she have it."

I have washed my hands and hope that they can survive this recession, to be able to provide better customer service.

I too, have had many "No's" & double & triple checking of my Q's & matching products at Albies, just exactly like you have posted.
I will still go for sales-but prepared for it, & will allow the additional time needed:20-40 minutes for check out.
I will also remind myself to be VERY patient prior to walking through the door.
