On the practice of Albertson's taking off coupons...

Ok I have contacted BOTH Kraft and Albertsons about why the coupons were peeled off. Now I have learned that it was a corporate wide practice in Albertsons to pull the coupons off all the products and this is what was emailed to me.

I AM CONTACTING YOU ON YOUR QUESTION ABOUT THE COUPONS BEING PULLED OFF PRODUCT BY THE ASSOCIATE. WE HAD A PROMOTION GOING ON WITH THE COUPONS AND THE PROMOTION ENDED SO THE ASSOCIATE WAS INSTRUCTED TO PULL THE COUPONS OFF THE PRODUCT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME

So there you have it they say the PROMO ended for them and they had to pull the coupons. Now I did find some coupons at another store and these coupons are all good till DECEMBER 2009!! So they are stating since they ended their promo they took the coupons off.

So I called KRAFT. I was told they have no control over what the stores do, they can do nothing about it because they have sold off the products to the stores and its up to the stores discretion if they want to leave coupons on or not.

So there you have it we have no grounds to stand on and well I feel horribly cheated and wronged.

I can completely understand your frustration with Albertsons. I think that they abusing customers and taking advantage us. I think that I am going to check them off of my list permanently and not go back EVER!

Bi-Lo did the same thing a couple weeks ago when they had the BBQ for .75 and the $3 cat WYB 6, the peelies were on the bottles one day and gone the next.

Not to start up the great debate, but that's all the more reason why I don't feel too bad about taking acouple peelies when I see them.

I guess they figured out the catalina offer was over. I went to the store in Carrollton yesterday and they had put out a new endcap display of bbq sauce with the .35 peelies on them.

This week's ad seemed to indicate the Cottonelle Ultra purple packs would have $1.00 coupons attached. Nary a one in my store display had a coupon on it. I did have my own $.50 q that doubled, but was still irritated when I recalled reading about the mystery of the missing Kraft coupons. I don't like misleading advertising.
