Albertsons (Dallas/Ft. Worth) ~ Vent: is your albertsons being really crappy?

with the ad this week? ours is keeping them behind the front dest so people don't grab more then one and get the good deals more then one time this week! luckly we have 3 stores but still that stinks that they are being so ugly! i just wanted me some cheap vegs. not that i was going to do it more then twice but still sheesh way to make a mom not wanna shop at your price gouging store n e more!!!!!!!!

When I went in to grab one, it wasn't out, and when I asked, one of the cashiers said "here, you can have mine." Now I'm wondering if they were "hiding" it. Course that was the "questionable" Albertsons that won't take printables.

And for the record, I don't generally get multiple ads for myself... I get multiple ads and pass them to my followers at work.

What part of Texas are you in cry2boiz? I was in one of the stores some weeks back when they had the 8pc chicken from the deli on sale for 3.99, well when the lady behind the counter saw that I still had a coupon for the deal she told me to hide it because people were looking for that coupon...LOL!! She stated people were getting more than one of the sales ads and using the chicken coupons more than once, and it wasn't fair for other customers. So I can understand why they are doing it.

Some people abuse the system, and it makes it harder on the ones who follow the rules. I'm in Rockwall, Tx, so I have to drive to Rowlett to the Albertsons or to the one in Mesquite. :) I'm sorry that they are being ugly about the flyer, we get our flyers in the mail so if they happen to run out in the store I'm glad we get ours in the mail.

I went in yesterday and all the ads were at the CS desk, behind the counter. The display at the front was empty.

I thought that was kind of odd, since there aren't any mfr coupons in them, they aren't good at any other stores anyway!

I went with my shopping buddy yesterday. When we discovered the ad bin empty she went to customer service to get us each one. The lady wouldn't give her more than one! I had to walk up there and get my own!

Also, they wouldn't give rainchecks for any of the 'coupon' sale prices. They were out of the eggs on the second day of the sale!!

well how strange that they are doing that. i'm almost done with albs all together. they are price gougers *sp* i swear. hehe. then when i do have coupons they never honor them, it hacks me off. this story was almost my last straw but........

this week i was in line behind "one of those couponers" hehe. a sweet OLDish *70's* beautiful woman but one row over. uhhhhhh the cashier was sooooo rude to her 2 coupons wouldn't scan so she looked at them over and over like she was a theif and then handed them back and said this one mam won't work, she went on to the next one..... looked it over real well took out the product *used this coupon b4 so i knew it was on the right item* but kept my mouth shut and she handed it back to her and said it won't work on this. then she did the same with some hair dye..... by this time i'm pissed cause she is treating this kind old lady like a criminal for using her coupons and the poor ol' lady is standing there in shock but not saying n e thing, you could tell she was very embarassed. uhhhhh so the cashier calls over a manager and it takes them FOREVER to come. so the cashier looks at the coupons reads umm mam you can't use it on this hair color because it says any color loreal or true blond bla bla bla and hands her back the coupon..... by this time i can't keep my mouth shut n e longer so i ask to see the coupon. the people behind us are pissed, i said it says on ANY COLOR SHE YES GOT BROWN BUT IT SAYS ON ANY OR THIS SPECIAL KIND OF LORAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so she said well i guess we do have to wait on a manager cause it WONT SCAN! i wanted to say go figure your computers won't scan your own coupons half the time......... errrr but i kept it shut... so while we are waiting she goes through all the rest of the coupons and hands her back THE ALBERTSONS COUPONS and says THESE COME OFF AUTOMATICALY!!!!!!!!!!! holy moly yuh i was pissed!!!!!!! kept my mouth shut cause i was embarassed cause of the jerks behind us but oh well......yuh the manager came over and approved it cause she read it just the way it was IT WAS LEGIT!!!!!!!!! UHHHHHHH!

okay that was my vent for albs this week! uhhhhh! yuh so after all that i went and cashed out with my nice cashier and she scanned all my coupons all went through nicely no problems and i got my 3 very full bags of groc's for $9 with not a ugly word. i wanted to tell her she needed to retrain the lady to the right but i just kept it shut and went homE!
