SAD Did the cereal deal and the Kimberly Clark

So, I did the Cereal deal this morning and the Kimbery Clark deal. The cereal deal would not take off the free cereal, and it only printed two milks free, and the Kimberly Clark didn't work at all. So, you would think they had to call in the infantry to take care of this. They had 4 people up there trying to figure this out, reading the ad, reading how many ounces I had, etc. The cashier kept saying I have already checked all of that, and she did what she was supposed to do. Really nice cashier. They kept glaring at me because I was wanting them to take care of it. I was really nice about it, in fact the cashier was being more demanding than me. Finally, they took it off, and I just went ahead and got one of my free milks right then, since it would only print two of the coupons. It took forever, but I saved alot. So, watch what goes on if you do these two deals.

How many cereals did you buy? Can you please break it out for me? I want to do this but I'm still not sure exactly what I need to do to get the best deal. Thanks for your help!

I bought 4 boxes of Frosted Flakes for $3.50 each. That met the $14. I also had two coupons for save $1/2 from the database- printable. I then got 3 other Kellogg's cereals for free, and with the ad coupon got a free box of Pop-Tarts. Then, after the whole thing, they print 3 coupons for free milk.

I was wondering how it all would work out. Seems they would make sure everything is working so that their customers wouldn't have to go through the problems of waiting on them to fix what is wrong. Now day's seems as though no one knows what color the sky is....lol...I think this is a wonderful deal..... :)

wow! yuh our alberstons always messes us over if you don't watch every dime they scan! it really stinks. like on the cheese coupons a while back they said 3 for $5 most cashiers didn't know you had to scan that coupon 3x. duh you shouldn't have to but i honestly think it's set up that way cause most people won't catch that. but that's just mpo!! but when my total wasn't what i added up i took it to cs and they fixed it, then the cashier stated oh i didn't know you had to scan that coupon 3x so i wonder how many others lost about $3 that day? hum.........

I did the cereal deal too, 7 boxes total, but I used my $1.50 off 1 box coupons for it. (they were in today's red plum)
the break down:

4 boxes = $14.00
3 boxes = FREE
x7 $1.50 off coupons = 10.50

= $3.50 oop.

The thing about the cereals was it wasn't ANY Kelloggs cereal, only the ones pictured in the ad were part of the deal. and only the larger sized boxes.
frosted flakes
corn pops
fruit loops
apple jacks
corn flakes (I think)
I am sure I am missing some, I think there were a couple more kinds.

I did the cereal deal yesteday (2 Rice Kripsies, 2 Apple Jacks, 1 Fuit Loops, 2 Pops) and just checked my reciept this morning, didn't have time at the store with a fussy hungry baby. Low and behold, I didn't get the 3 free ones taken off. I guess I'll take care of it when I'm out that direction again. All 3 milk coupons did print and I got the Pop Tarts free, at least I watched that.

I did this same deal and it worked out like it was supposed to.
The week before I bought a 5 lb roll of hamburger meat and it was on sale for $7.95 and they charged me $8.95. I then went to the customer service desk and they gave me a refund for the hamburger meat being they rang it up wrong. So make sure that your items scan for the right price if not they have to give you the money back.....if you say something or catch it.
