It depends on what else you wanted to buy. You could use all 9 in one transaction and add one more item from the mix and match items and then you would have 3.50 to spend to use up your overage because they won't give you any money back. You could use the overage to buy a loaf of bread and some fruit or you could use it toward a package of meat. Or, even better still, you could find a package of the pre-seasoned chicken and use the coupon from the ad to get 2 more free packages of the pre-seasoned chick for free. Since the price of the chicken varies by weight, I can't really tell you what your total oop should be, but if the chicken is all very close in price (and at least over 3.50) your should be pennies OOP.

I got 5 powerade and 5 cans of Hormel chili and used 5 $1.00 and my total was zero, so I added a candy bar and paid .53 oop. The Powerade overage paid for the chili.

If you give us a list of what you would like to buy, we'll help you put together some scenerios.

I tried using the $1.00 Powerade coupons and they beeped. The cashier said it was because the coupon was more than the product price. I pointed out to her that the .75 coupons were also more than the product price and she couldn't explain why they didn't beep. I didn't buy her explanation but quickly exchanged the 1.00 coupons for some .75 coupons I was holding and completed the transaction She even called over a CSR who offered the same explanation as to why they wouldn't work. Baloney, I thought and I didn't buy the last 10 powerade I had in my cart.

I took my groceries to the car and went back in for 10 more Powerades, determined to use the $1.00 coupons. I took my 10 powerade and 10 more fruit roll-ups and this time I hit the self checkout and they worked.

I wanted to post this little problem so you could be aware and be ready to make a change in your coupons at the last minute if need be.
