Default UGH! Kraft Q problems

It was such a hot day yesterday and I just did not feel like arguing but the cashier, csm's and whoever else the cashier called over were only going too let me use 1 of each of my crystal light and om hot dog Q's.

Not sure what the reason was for the Crystal Light Q, but the reasoning behind the Hotdog one was because I was already getting one for free with the B1G1 sale...Why did I need to use the coupon then?

i had met all requirements for the Q, they just happened to be having a b1g1 sale. Manu pays 1, they give the other. I don't know why it was so hard for them to figure out. Seriously they stood there looking like I had asked them to explain to me the meaning of life lol

I finally just told her to take all of it off my order, it wasnt worth the headache just to get 2 extra packs of hotdogs.

Call CS and let them know that you were forced to buy FEWER groceries than you planned. THEN explain the Q situation to them. I guarantee you CS won't feel the same as the store. THEN, ask for the District/Zone manager's number and fill him on. They are getting paid for it, so why the problem? They don't like you being a smart shopper.

Oh my face is so hot!! Not from being mad but from being nervous LOL

i called customer service who told me that I could not use a coupon even on a sale item!

He did call the store manager who told me to bring in the coupon tomorrow so he could look at it but he didnt see any reason why I couldn't use it.

although I'm sure tomorrow he'll find some reason as to why I can't use the kool-aid packets as the qualifying products.

this really sux because the sale that starts tomorrow has kraft singles b1g1f and i have loads of the free singles Q's! =(

OK, stop with CS (they must be idiots!!) and find out the Zone mgrs. name and phone number. He will realize that a sale is a sale and should side with you. Don't they realize that they can't arbitrarily make up rules? If they take a Q one week, they HAVE to take it the next week (within reason, of course).

well according to cs it has always been policy not to accept a q with a sale item *shrugs* i guess we'll see what happens tomorrow with the store manager. he was very nice about everything. he asked me what the cashiers name was, i couldnt recall but it wasnt her fault. she just didnt want to do something she thought might be wrong.

When CS tells you something like that, ask for their supervisor and keep going up a few levels and if still being told something ridiculous ask for loss prevention and marketing both to be conferenced called into the conversation. Also many times if they will just call loss prevention like I always ask them first, loss prevention knows the store will not lose any money and instruct them to go ahead, this covers them if asked about it by their boss, and keeps them from possibly getting in trouble from their boss since it never goes up the chain, to roll back down onto them.

I try to be non confrontational but I will continue to stand my ground. These deals are the only thing that allow me to be able to eat and pay my bills, so I have no choice. Even today a store had to shut down a lane, and with a cashier and 2 managers there I was telling them since they did not get it, they needed to get another manager over there, and even if it took every manager they had in the store and speaker phone calls (on friends cell) to corp for someone to realize they should be allowing what I was trying to do, then thats what we was going wind up doing. When they realized I was not going away, one of the 3 there figured it out within 2 minutes, then explained to the other 2 to allow it and explained how to handle it.

There has only been 2 times I was unable to what I was trying, one was I was trying to use IP's and did not know corp policy was not to accept them (first time I had been to that store), and the other was I was exceeding the limits of Q's per like item, due to the other stores managers in the same chain allowing twice as many as corps policy (so I just went to a different location to do it).

I'm so glad I've got multiple stores in my area. If I don't like the answer I get, they can restock my groceries and I'll go to another store.

For what it's worth, I have emailed the Albertson's Corp office, asking for an explanation of their coupon policy. Hopefully, their answer will address these issues.
