Reusable Shopping Bags - refund for use

If you are using these, make sure your cashier is giving you the 5cent refund per bag used. My cashier had no idea about and luckily the manager was helping her with something and asked if she gave me the discount.

I thought I saw something about this posted here but couldn't find it. If it is here, please just consider this a reminder.

A few extra cents and saving the world at the same time!
Well, at least maybe it will negate all those paper receipts we keep getting!

Will you tell me more? Are they bags you buy? Or are you bringing in your own plastic bags? And, if so, do they have to be Albie's bags?

I had 2 Albertsons fabric reusable bags (one I purchased during that transaction and they still gave the refund for it). I don't think they have to be from Albertsons but can't say that for sure. I believe that as long as you are using a fabric bag like the Albertsons one, they will give you the discount. I looked on their website Albertsons Market and they have info about the bags but not the discount. I also looked at www.albertsons.com and couldn't find anything about the bags. (The website depends on what area you live in.)
