Albertsons NW: Catalina Question

I swear I've seen Catalina deals overlap Safeway and Albertson's, am I wrong? The reason I ask is there's a Cat deal at Safeway on Pillsbury and I want it .

Sometimes they overlap, sometimes they don't. I tried to call Catalina before to verify and they were less than cooperative. Sorry I'm not much help- but I wouldn't necessarily count on the CAT being good at both places.

Slight rabbit trail from this question, but...

Can you use an Albies cat coupon at Safeway and vice versa? It does say manufacturer's coupon but then it also says where to redeem.

In my area, my stores consider those "competitor" coupons and won't take them if they're not "their" store. I know I have accidentally handed over a Fred Meyer at Safeway and it didn't beep or anything. They ARE MF coupons, but some stores are YMMV.
