Jello and Cool Whip 11/5/08-11/26/08

I got a printout advertising an upcoming promotion. It says "Buy Jell-o Pudding or Gelatin Snacks during purchase dates and save $2 on an aerosol can of Cool Whip Whipped Topping". On the side it says the purchase dates and "Buy (2) or more and get $2.00... (why the ...?) coupon off cool whip whipped topping in a can. All items must be purchased in a single shopping order."

So I don't really get it. Does the $2.00 come off automatically at the time of purchase or is it an OYNO?? Someone with more experience at this please explain.

Sounds like you buy the Jell-o and get a $2 coupon off Cool whip aerosol. Seems like an odd offer.

If it was and instant offer then it would say something to the effect of 'save $2 instantly at checkout'.

Can you post the offer # or call catalina for clarification?

I found one of these today and it is a $2 coupon for a can of Cool Whip. It also has the offer details as above for the refrigerated snacks, after 'Congratulations, now save even more'.
