what exactly is catalina?
Received a Cat for $2 on (5) General Mills Cereal. It printed out when I bought 2 Cheerios and 4 multi-grain Cheerios. The expiration on the Cat is 8/12/08. I am not sure what # is the Cat #. I am guessing it is this one in the upper left hand corner which is also under the bar code. 64727-7

Sorry so late replying. A catalina is a coupon which prints out when you buy specific things. The cashier should give it to you with your receipt. I bought 5 boxes of General Mills Cereal and received a Catalina (coupon) for $2 off when buying 5 more boxes of GM cereal. So when the GM cereal was on sell for 1.19 a box when you bought milk I bought 5 more boxes and used the catalina along with my other coupons. I then received another catalina. Some times they will be off your next order(OYNO) so you just use them like cash other than you will not get money back. There is one going right now when you buy 3 bags of marshmallows which are currently $1 a bag you get a $3 cat OYNO so it really makes them free.
I bought 6 boxes for 10 deal. I had two $1.50 off 3 coupons and the cashier had this catalina that someone before me said they didn't want and she put it on my order. 6 boxes for $5.
I am new to all this... maybe this isn't the place to ask, but I am wondering...I have one of the $1.50 off 3 boxes Catalina. Can I use that in combination w/ manufacturer's coupons or does it count as a manufacturer's coupon?
I would like to get this new Catalina, but want to make sure I get the best deal on the cereal I buy to get the new Catalina too.
Thanks for your help!
The catalina that you received is a manufacturer coupon catalina. It cannot be combined with your manufacturer coupons. The exception to this rule is when you have a store coupon that does not specifically state that it is a manufacturers coupon. Store coupons can be combined with manufacturers coupons. HTH.![]()
