Catalinas print when shelf total is a few cents short of required amount!

I hope i am not breaking any rules by posting this.

I saw some discussions about catalinas printing when shelf total is a few cents short of required amount. I decided to be brave today and test it out. I am so sick of buying things i don't need/use to get those few pennies covered.
I purchased 4 x $4.99 wheaties today. total was 19.96 shelf, $10 sale minus 4 x $1 MC. OOP $6. $7 CATALINA PRINTED!

don't know about all of them, but this one worked! i did this just by itself so there won't be any doubt and i had my card scanned after the cereal so that i would see the total clearly.

Thank you for being so brave! I was one of the people that happened to, well..my DH. And he did it three times on a triple. I didn't have an order to test it on yesterday so I am VERY GRATEFUL that you did this!

Well, call me crazy, but I'm still going to hit the totals. I mean, how would we know what the allowance is--0.01? 0.05? Who knows? And then if it doesn't print, you won't know if it was your product assortment or your overall total. Yeah, every party has a pooper................
