Either search online, but they'll be off some as well from store to store, or check your store. I have six stores around me and the shelf prices will vary 25c or so, from store to store. But I always start by planning my shelf prices by using the "Browse online store" feature of the Acme website. I know I may have to adjust on the fly depending on the specific store shelf prices.

It's the only one I have a price for at my store which is $4.99 not $4.49 at others. I try to stop in a few days before a sale and look for the shelf prices.
Last summer I made a price check list of health and beauty. I never thought I would get into grocery shopping since it isn't my responsibility in the house. When you have time write down the prices everytime you shop on what you buy most often. It might take a bit but it will get you started.
