ACME ~ Question: What is your ACME's IP Coupon Policy?

:frown: My ACME does not accept them any longer. I checked 2 others and both said "NO" :frown:

I am in NJ btw.

I'm in Delaware. My Acme didn't accept IP's for a long time (a year, I think). About 3 months ago I saw an ad on their corporate site for printables. I picked up the phone and called corporate to let them know it wasn't very nice to show ads for them when they won't even accept them. Long story short.....my Acme was violating a corporate policy to accept IP's. Within 2 days I was able to use IP's again and there were no longer signs on the registers saying they couldn't accept them. If what I was told was correct, individual stores cannot make up their own policy. In fact, after I reported my store I got another call back from someone else. She actually THANKED me for bringing it to their attention. I would most definitely call tomorrow and just politely ask if it is now corporate policy to not accept IP's. I'm sooooo glad I called--it's so much easier when they do accept them.

Mine will accept those with a barcode, but not those with a serial number instead.

I contacted them also - especially with the fact that they offer printables from their site as Bridget mentioned. Here is the response I got

I keep a copy in with my coupons, but havent had any trouble since then. HTH

the store I work in takes them but they have to have abarcode and not be for a free product. I'm in Nj.

Delaware as well!! I shop in Newark on Elkton-Newark Rd. Can never remember the name of that shopping center!! I am excited about the new Home Depot getting build behind it though :)

I shop at the Acme in Rockaway, NJ and they take IPs.
