Rolled cats to gift card

I took all my catalinas from this week and bought an Acme gift card. I hadn't tried to roll them so I had $21 worth. I bought a $25 GC and now I dont have to worry about the cats expiring. Plus, if I'm buying something for 3.49, I dont have to get a filler item to be able to use a $4 cat.

I didn't know you could do that! I'm going to try it. Is there a minimum of cats for getting a gift card? What are the rules?

I never did it before this. Even the cashier wasnt sure if it would work, but he said he'd try.
There was nothing on the cats that either of us could see stating that they couldnt be used for a GC.
Acme GC are the kind that you choose your own amount. So I picked $25 since I had $21 in cats. I suppose I could have done it for just the $21.
