Acme: 6/20 to 6/26

Is it just me or does it seem as if most of the sales are on Acme-brand items?

Aside from the meat deal (and we don't know how good that deal will be until we see the packages of meat) and the Coke deal, my general feeling is: "Meh!"

But here are some matchups I did on my website

Front page/outside flap deals of note:
Pick 5, mix & match for $19.99: any 5 packages of specially marked meat for $19.99. It remains to be seen how large the packs are, but it could be good!
Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Sprite: 6 for $11 (coupon from the circular required). Probably the best deal on Coke I’ve seen in a long time. Note that the coupon says ”1 per purchase”, NOT “1 per customer” or “1 per transaction”. If you want to get more multiples of 6, just grab a few more circulars when you walk in the store!
General Mills, Kellogs, Post or Quaker Cereal 4 for $10. Plenty of coupons to be found here here and here which, when doubled, will make for decent prices
Fresh Express Salads: Garden Salad variety only $.99. Pair with $1 blinkies that were out a few weeks ago and you get free salad!
Page 2:
Healthy Ones packaged Lunchmeat: BOGO ($3.19) pair with the $.75 from 5/4 SS insert: after doubling $1.59 for 2!
FREE Cool Whip Aerosol Topping when you purchase 2 Jello-O Pudding snacks (insert coupon required). Jello-O pudding snacks are 2 for $6, but there were $1 coupons for Dark Chocolate and Rice Pudding in a recent insert (6/8?). Use 2 and get 2 puddings and Cool Whip for $4
Helluva Good Dips (perhaps the best French onion dip around): 2 for $3. use 2 of the $.75 coupons from here and when doubled, they are both free
Page 3: all Acme Brand - no coupon matchups
Page 4 & 5: No major sales. Sales on meat seem to be confined to the 5 for $19.99 sale detailed on page 1. Produce prices higher than Genuardi’s and Giant
Page 6:
Dove chocolates are 2 for $6. Pair this with the BOGO coupon here (or use the coupon bar on the sidebar to help support this site) and get 2 for $3
Starbucks Frappuccino: Buy 2 get 1 free (with in-ad coupon)
All other deals and in-ad coupons on this page are not the greatest
Page 7: No major sales
Page 8: (including flap)
Lost of sales on Gerber baby/toddler foods. Get Gerber coupons here
Aquafina and Evian are both 10 for $10. Use the $1 off 2 from the Reinventing Beauty books (available at CVS) or the coupon book from CVS and get them for $.50 each
Clif Luna bars 10 for $10. Use the $1 off 3 coupons often found in the produce section of the Healthy Living book at Giant
Chock Full o’ Nuts Coffee is on sale for $5.99. Use the $.75 off coupon from here (or click through the coupon bar in my sidebar to support this site) and when doubled you get it for $4.49
Here’s hoping for a better Acme sale circular next week!

At the top of the ad it says 10lbs of meat for $19.99, so it comes out to $2/lb for the meat deal.

Did anyone else get the free up to $4 medium beverage from in-store Seattle's Best? It was on the inside of the front flap of my flyer and doesn't expire until 9/4.

I just got 5 boxes Honey Nut Cheerios at the 4/$10 deal. With 5 doubled $.50 Q's stacked with a $2 store Q when you buy 5 GM cereals, I got 5 for $5.50. Plus GM printed a store Q for one free gallon of milk with the purchase. I ordered more Q's to get the deal again. They came in time and I am off to the store for more! I don't know how many times the free milk will print, but I think the $2.00 Q for five GM cereals is pretty standard.

$2.50 x 5 = $12.50
-$2.50 in doubled Q's
-$2.00 Store Q from GM

Total $5.50 ($1.10 per 17 oz. box)
Plus free milk

Yay!

Is this a catalina coupon for $2 if so I think then it is a MFG coupon and you shouldn't be able to use it with the other MFG coupons

Oops! I think you are right. **Sigh** I am afraid that I have been using them together for a while now, but I didn't realize it wasn't a store coupon. I guess I'm still learning. Thanks.
