Sign up for the Ace preferred customer program, and earn 10 points for every $1 your spend at Ace. For every 2,500 points that you accumulate, you earn a $5 reward. The more you shop, the more rewards you will earn! Just present your card every time you make a purchase.

Check the booklet that they mail to you once you are a member. They sometimes include coupons for 1,000 extra points on any purchase! You can also get mailings with coupons good for things like $4/10.00 purchase of cleaning supplies.

Rebates:
They also have a monthly rebate program that actually does arrive! The ad has items that are cheap or FREE after rebate on a regular basis.

There website is very outdated, they have an ACE location neaar me that my daughter use to work at. Its now a carpet place. They still have it listed.

Just to add, since I noticed several coupon related questions above:

All (or at least most) ACE Hardware stores are independently owned (in some cases, one group may own several, such as Williams Lumber in the Columbia/Greene/Dutchess County NY Area).

Therefore, any acceptance of coupons will vary by the store (thus what the store in one town does, the next town over may not).

Many choose not to take them, simply because the volume they would get is quite small (after all, most items in an Ace rarely, if ever, have coupons) and probably wouldn't be worth their time & effort to redeem them.
