Ace National Grand Opening Sale 6/29 & 6/30

All the rebates I have done with Ace have been postcard style checks.

And they're always really reliable. They send email confirmations and everything. Plus, if you belong to the Rewards club thingy, you get points for what you buy, even if the items are FAR.

Very true. I have never had a lick of trouble with an Ace rebate.

Our store just went out of business )-= It was my favorite hardware store. They would always do what ever they could to help me. I had a window at the store break (bzybee remember the sliding windows at the front?) so Mr.Billy (Go figure) took the slides off it and sealed to pieces of plexy glass together and built me a handle and got me a whole new window basicly for only $10. I loved that store )-=

I was there this morning at 7:34. I was annoyed that I overslept and was 34 min late but then saw they had changed their hours and open right at 7:30...

They had everything in stock and as usual were very friendly and helpful. Hopefully I will get the rebate done on-line before we leave out of town tomorrow!!

For me, they have always accepted their own store coupons, but refused mfr if the item is FAR.

I didn't get there until about 11:00 today & they were out of a few things I wanted. THey were very helpful though. Still irks me though cause it's a 2 day sale...they should have plenty of the FAR & not have stuff sell out the first 30 mins!! They opened at 8 & he said people were lined up at 7:15.....mostly 70+ yr olds he said!! WHich is normal for this town!!!

I spent $80 & will get back about 45 in rebates. I bought paint at 23.99 which was a b1g1f & big $$ amount. I'm gonna try to do the online thing in a bit & hopefully that goes smoothly!

Mine doesn't take MFR coupons, but I was able to get everything I wanted that was FAR, plus a couple of really cheap needed painting items.

I didn't run into a big line, but in my small town they are fine with stock until lunchtime.

I don't know if this is against the board rules and if it is forgive me please, but I went to Ace today and picked up almost all the FAR items. I got home and I had purchased the Ultimate Poly Glue. It's showing on my receipt but it wasn't in the bag. I called the store and the manager said to bring back everything I purchased and my receipt. The store is a half hour away and I just need the UPC to enter on the rebate form. I don't know if I'll have the time to take everything back tomorrow. I never heard of such a thing. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks for your help in advance.

Honeybear, one time with an ace rebate DH opened an item and threw out the package before I got to take off the UPC. I called the 1800 rebate # and they were very helpful, instructed me to make a note on my rebate form and make sure to circle the item on the receipt. I did get the rebate.

Having done Ace rebates several times, I would recommend you call the store and explain you are 30 min away...see if they will send the glue or hold it for the next time you are in town. Then call the 1800 number and explain what happened...that you are missing the UPC. If none of that works out, you still have until 7/31/07 to get the rebate postmarked, so maybe you can swing by ACE before then.
