i took the ace ad saying thru jan 18th to target and they priced matched it on the 20th. the manager at ace signed his name and said to call with any questions on the price. circled the light bulbs on the front page and then circled the dollar day deals every day of the month on the back page.

I lost my dollar day deals ad (i dont think i lost it i think the lady at target kept it the first time haha!) so far i've gotten 43 light bulbs woohoo! We use cfl's in everything and i've actually paid the $1 plus tax for a few 75's and 100's haha!

Got two more today and they gave me a hard time about the coupons. The cashier said they wouldn't take them since the item was already on sale. I told her they took them a couple of weeks ago and these were not Ace coupons but manufacturer's coupons. She called the manager who took them with no problem.

My Ace doesn't accept coupons at all either, but I'm definitely going to pricematch at Target!!! My lightbulb stockpile is just about gone!!!

i went back to ace and asked the store manager who is BESTIES! with the store owners and she said "oh i am so sorry someone was confused, we take mfg q's. We can't scan them but we enter them in manually on the screen." Woot! more light bulbs! haha
