Ace Hardware ~ Good Deal: ** FREE GE Energy Smart Light Bulb!!- Tried and it WORKED!**

my wal-mart did the price match no problem. they only had ONE 40 on the shelf so i'm thinking someone else knows about the deal and didn't want to shelf clear so left one bulb haha!

anyways i got it and they looked at the ad and did it no problems. then went to target and got 13 60w bulbs and 2 100w bulbs. yay! dh was happy and i came home in a good mood haha!

Went to one ace, haven't been in years, won't be back for a few more, Was told I could not use a q on a sale item,was told it says so on the Q " any other offer" was the explantion.

Laughed grabbed many copies of the ad and left.
Went to next ace, sign on door no q's on sale items, did not unload the 6 kids that time whew! cannot find their Q policy online anywhere....hum anyone know?

I got the same response from Ace. It can nopt be used for an offer.The cashier said to me well I can not let you have them for free. I am paying tax. She did not liek that. I said look your company has these on sale right? Well they are eating the loss fromit being cheap.Right. Well your company will get reimbursed for the coupons. You are making the company money. Yeah..She thought about it and said OK just this once. WHATEVER just give me my free bulbs lady!!!!

I was able to buy 6 of these, using 4 $1/1 coupons and 2 $1.50/1 coupons from the Target website. The Target Qs are mfr.
Cashier looked at them carefully, to make sure they were for the correct product, but she was then happy to enter a $6 discount.
They don't scan them, they enter the discount in the screen somehow.

Seems odd and illogical to me that you would accpet coupons, but only if
you pay full price. That goes against the industry standard, compliance
with the manufacturer agreement, and general knowledge.

I price matched 4 of the GE Energy Smart Bulbs at Wal-Mart today. Worked like a charm. I brought in the first page of the Ace Hardware ad that i printed from the internet. Then used the $1 off Q and got 4 free bulbs that were normally 3.68 apiece.
Wish I had more of them. The ad is good till the end of January.
