Thanks for the ad scan!! Just wondering: any idea why it has "SAMPLE" in big letters on the front and back page? Do you think it means this is just an example of what they could be having, or do you think that part's been decided but this is an example of the possible layout of the ad?

Either way, I'm excited that we have it this early! Hurry up and get here, November! LOL

Ace's ad always seems to come out first. I wonder if this is a legit ad though. I guess like the rest of you, I will wait and see....

It seems that on 9/5/08 Ace Hardware contacted some of the sites asking that their ad be removed ( not HCW as of yet ). They don't have a problem with the ad being posted on various sites early, but they say the ad may under go changes before being finalized for Black Friday release. Remember, the same thing happened with the Ace Ad last year.

Thanks for the FYI... Curious though: did the ad actually change any last year when this happened or was it still the same later?

There were some minor changes ~ additions / deletions but nothing major from the best of my recollection.
