The GE pharmacy coupons say "Prescription filled as written by physician." If the doctor wrote for 30 tablets but you are only going to get 5 tablets than that is not filling as the doctor wanted.

On the other hand...I work at giant eagle pharmacy and the register will not reject the coupon for partial fills or even refills! It all depends on whether the cashier notices it is a partial fill or a refill.

Also when the promo first started I could scan multiple coupons per transaction but now that requires an override code. Also if you try to use it for a government funded the register will beep and expect an override code. The pharmacists have been pretty liberal about letting me use the override code for multiple coupons but they don't usually do the same for gov. funded.

Also when I was working a lady had ONE coupon but TWO new rxs.. She complained so much to the pharmacy manager working that he overrode the register to let her add $2 off, just by using one coupon. What a cheater :(

Also I have noticed some people bringing in $0.50 cents off a gallon, which I hope does not start to replace the $1 ones.


I was wondering if anyone knows about giant eagle emailing coupons?? I have seen some people bring in photocopied mini versions of this coupon. I first saw a younger lady doing it and I figured it was fake but I took it anyways..then I saw an older man (one of the regulars who I have never seen use a coupon before) use one today and I am now thinking perhaps it is a legit promotion lol.
