I will make a couple trips throughout the week and then next Thursday afternoon, I will use up whatever I have left. if I clear out the shelves then (and I've only done that with lunchmeat) at least I've given other shoppers in my area a chance.

I think the only thing I've ever really had competition on was the Skippy Peanut butter. Plus, if my usual store is low on stock I can go to the D.C. store (about the same distance, but smaller store.)
