 shampoo deal
So this morning I bought 6 herbal essence 3shampoo/3conditioners at Kroger.
The tag said 2 for $5.
I bought 6.....because I read this was the best way to work the deal.
Used 3 $3/2q
And saved an additional $6 from the $3 off 3 P&G coupon
my total came out to be $3.50 when I thought it was going to be FREE (plus tax). 
I tried to tell the cashier I should have received the deal for free but he said you had your coupons and your extra savings taken off.... so I went ahead and bought it but took everything over to customer service- explained to her and she looked at the reciept and said that it looked like I didn't get part of the P&G deal.
On my receipt it shows-
MC scanned coupon $3 (3times).........................................$ 9.00-T
RD (not sure what that stands for) $3 off P&G total.............. 3
MC P&G $3 off Total .................................................. .....$3.00-F
So she went ahead and gave me my $3 back-- and I walked out with a big smile knowing that I got 6 bottles for .50cents!
anyone know what happened when I checked out or should it have been $3.50? this was all that I purchased. |
