I live in a town with WalMart, Safeway and RiteAid we should be getting a Walgreens early next year.

What I do is work the best deals I can with those stores. I do make a lot of trips for good sales and I tend to do multiple transaction. I also will make a trip to a town with more stores if there is a great deal that I have to get (like diapers).

The best part of being in a small town is that there isn't as much coupon competition so you are don't have to fight for the deals that are available to you.
