Re: Food World Ad June 18- 24 Brokenchina, when you go to cook those pork chops, do this: Get a jar of the McCormick Roasting Rub in Savory Herb (there are Qs out there).
This is for pork. Put it on the pork chops when you start cooking them, I just sprinkle it all over.
Cook them slowly, on medium low, with the skillet partially covered for most of the time. (I've had lots better results cooking stuff on low and slow)
Then, take the cover off completely and brown 'em a little. The taste is fantastic, with the herb seasoning. I do not bread or coat my chops, just saute them as is, just adding the seasoning.
The savory herb is for pork, the French herb is for chicken, and the cracked peppercorn is for beef. Get all three, they make a difference!
