I just don't like the fact that my info gets spread all over the place. When I moved back in with my mother, I registered on Classmates.com and only entered my B-day (something they require for registration) and my mom's city and state. I had not changed any ID's, billing addresses, etc. Then I did a search for my name on some people search service and I was shocked when I saw my mom's city as my own! Prior to that I had NEVER seen my mom's city come up under my name. I monitor the various people search sevices and my credit reports very carefully. After that I went back on Classmates and deleted the city. Had I lied about my B-day, for whatever reason, that info would have made it onto some report, maybe with unforseen consequences. |
