another NICU mom here... and I ditto the gas cards- soooo helpful for us as we traveled back and forth to the hospital (40 min away) for 7 1/2 weeks
We actually stayed at a Ronald McDonald-type house for the last 1 1/2 weeks with our then 3 and 1 1/2 year olds.
I pray that God will get them through this difficult time as He did for us.
