I'm short (5'2") and it was hard on my body having 2 babies in there. However, I followed the advice in Dr. Luke's book and they were born big for their age (5 lbs. and 4 lbs. 10 oz) and only had to spend about 10 days in NICU. But that meant I came home with two very small babies on monitors. During the first few months, take any help that's offered because it can be overwhelming to take care of two babies at once. The first 6 months was definitely the hardest, but I always got such a lift from taking the babies out and hearing all the sweet comments people would make. My b/g twins are now 6 and no one would ever guess they're twins. I almost miss those double stroller days!

Congrats on expecting twins! It truly is a wonderful thing.

I'm another shorty momma with twins!! I'm 5 foot tall ....

I loved the Barbara Luke book, and really took advantage of eggs, and protein shakes (from Whole Foods) to pack in the protein.

This has paid off for us .... I'm currently 37 and 1/2 weeks, with NO problems! My OB took me off work at 35 1/2 weeks .... I was PO'd about it, but since I can hardly walk now, I suppose it is a good thing!

Spent the night in L/D on Monday ... got sent home cause I did not dilate. Having contractions again this morning, so maybe I'll meet my babies today!

Good Luck to everyone!!
