My mom works with a lot of teen mothers who also want as many children as God will allow them to have. It is sad to hear about 16 year old girls with 3 kids and pregnant with the 4th. You *think* that they are missing out on a lot, but this is what they want so they're not missing out on anything. 18 kids is a lot. Definitely not the life I would want. My whole life is already consumed by my 2. I couldn't imagine 18.
Of course it wasn't too long ago that 18 kids wouldn't have been that much bigger than normal.
I have never seen the show. But I commend her for being a "super mom". There is no way that her body is performing the way it ought to at this point. I wish her all the luck!
ETA: Just looked at their website and all of their kids have "J" names. That is funny. If it were my family it would all be "M" names (we are: Maya, Mike, Max and Mikaela and a dog named Maggie). I think they should name the 18th baby something without a J and surprise everyone. LOL
