i did my training through DONA 6 yrs ago this month. i LOVE being a doula!!! i don't get to do this anymore b/c of having my own kids, but once my baby is older and dh is more settled w/his job, i'm considering going back to it. it is a very rewarding experience.
i live in a rural area and my charges depended upon each individual situation. sometimes i bartered for housecleaning, getting my toilet fixed, etc. that's the best payment i think. |
