I believe I've done it before with the full value of a $off rebate item (not FAR) counting towards the $10 minimal purchase. It might be a YMMV thing, though. Last time I purchased a $10 gift card, we will see if that goes though (I needed the FAR item anyway, kids were being crazy, etc!)
