Re: Cloth diapers? We use cloth on this baby (5 months old) and used cloth on DD#2 from 14 months on up. With DD#2 she was 22lbs. already and we found that the large Fuzzi Bunz worked great for her except that when she started to slim down the leg elastic was too worn and left gaps. But that was probably more because we were not the first owners and the diapers had been through years of use.
Then, since the diapers we had for her were sadly abused with our laundry situation overseas we had to get rid of them, so for the new baby we got One-size pocket diapers called Haute Pockets. They have worked great. They have lots of different settings so that you can get just the right fit Which is great for us because our babies tend to go through some major size changes. Chubby to slim/tall to chubby and back again.....We've got 18 diapers that we usually use and then I have some pretty fitted diapers that we have left over from DD#2 that I use as backups if I don't get to the laundry fast enough.
Right now we use disposables at night, but it's mostly out of laziness. DD sleeps with me for part of the night usually and I don't want to deal with figuring out how much stuffing she needs...lol! Once she starts sleeping through the night in her own bed, I'll switch to doing cloth then too, like we did with DD#2.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I'll be out for the evening, so this thread will probably be buried before I get to check back.
