Lowes has a few ways to save. Most stores have an area (don't know why, but usually near the bathrooms) where they put scratch and dent stuff. You can also check in the various departments, and check for the clearance tags. there is usually a table near our tool section with clearance items. We also find things on the main aisle and back near the garden center or in the garden center. (Like seasonal or holiday stuff) I have also called ahead with specific requests and they held them for me. (Like when our hot water heater died, and we got a great price on a returned one) Good luck in your new place!!
