I found this whole thread to be quite entertaining and I also appreciate all the honesty with all your mistakes made, maybe I can learn from yours rather than making them all myself!  I have only been doing this for a few weeks, but I have already gotten a 3 inch binder, which is already full ( I saw some others opted for 5 inch and I thought that would be too big...hahaha...now I know better) I feel very organized and I will never lose that big binder, which I saw someone mention on here, unless there is a HUGE sale somewhere and it gets buried. I also have a method for not letting things expire in my stockpile, which without this site would be 2 tubes of toothpaste and a bottle of A1.  I get a sharpie marker and write the exp. date clearly on the front and then put the ones that expire last in the back. This makes it really easy to see the dates and I think it will help as I plan to use things before they expire. Now, for what you have all been waiting for...my biggest mistake so far is....taking my family with. They completely ruin my bottom line. So, although I love them, when it comes time to shop...they need to stay home! |
