Default Re: How do you feel about baby showers for 2nd, 3rd, more

I say a baby shower for second baby is fine regardless of gap between the last child. As long as they don't go over board with the gifts.
When I was pregnant with my second child my mother had a "sprinkle" for me mind you my oldest was 2 1/2 years old so no big gap there. It was a very small affair but the gifts were plenty. My family/friends were kind enough to hold a diapers/wipes sprinkle (although I did receive some other gifts). They were very generous with the diapers - I went 4 months without buying diapers - and a few months without buying dreft BIG SAVINGS!!! My mom made a basket with the essentials I would need for my hospital stay (pjs, slippers toiletries).

So I say yes but keep the gift simple
