Here are some pics of mine... My freezer in the center. Shelf above holds drinks (capri suns, soda, beer, etc). Second shelf is rubbermaid type totes labled yard sale. Rubbermaid cupboard to the right hold cookies. When I get my new freezer that is where it will be going.  The inside of my freezer:  My shelves. I have gotten questions before on how I built my shelves and where I got the milkcrates from. First the specs. My shelves go from floor to almost the ceiling in my garage. One set is 8 ft long and the other is 6 feet long. We collected the milkcrates (legaly) by asking at all the local stores if we could have any that might be a little broken. The stores couldn't give them to us but they put in in contact with the milk delivery guy and he was happy to give us some damaged crates. So my crates were all free. Most have a small crack some where on the bottom of the crate, but since mine are stacked on thier sides the crack does not pose a structural problem. Then my DH bought 1/2 inch partical board and cut it to fit. We spaced the milk crates out and placed the shelves on them. DH secured the shelves to the crates as well as the walls with bolts, washers, and nuts. This is to prevent them from toppling. I can tell you they are not going to fall over. I place all heavy items on the bottom (cans and jars) and lighter stuff on the top. Total cost for my shelving was $40.:Humble:
