every quarter they send out coupons, so say you've saved 2500 points this is £25 in coupons. the coupons can be exchanged for 'deals' and the coupons are worth 4x their value in deals vouchers so £25 becomes £100, the deals vouchers can be exchanged for things like holidays or days out.

I can definitely see where this system takes a 'dream' of a holiday and makes it a reality! It will be very interesting to see if Tesco comes to the US and if so, will they use a similar system.
