just one cat here. i guess i can't count the kids, eh? lol!

several years ago when i lived in AL i had 35 cats, 4 dogs, 2 parakeets, 5 mice, and a bowl of goldfish. the mice were taken to the local pet shop, the rest i found good homes for before i moved outta state (that was a chore!!). i wouldn't mind having that many again one day (dh actually wants a dog, like, yesterday, lol), but not here. too many coyotes running around this area - i'm too skurred they'd be eaten :( the cat we have now is an indoor-only cat. sometimes he'll peek around the corner at the front door while i'm unloading the groceries from the car, but he's such a chicken, lol, he never goes farther than that.... like he knows he'll be grub if he goes in the yard!
