I got close to 50 jars of Skippy last fall free with triples, and thought 30 would be enough to last us, so we donated 20 of them to the food pantry. By June, we were down to 6 jars left, so I got another 10 jars at free and 20 for .25 each.
Two weeks ago we had the rolling catalina on Peter Pan, so I got close to 40 jars free. I am awaiting the Skippy deals, and was disappointed that the coupons are much lower now.
Preteen kids will eat a jar a week easily, and if I want some on a bagel it goes even faster.
My youngest likes to make what she likes to call "Elvis' favorite" , that is a peanut butter and banana sandwich. These are pretty good, but have to be eaten fresh, not packed in a lunch pail. |
