Thank you everyone for your comments. I don't quite feel so alone now.

I wonder if part of it may be a 'provider' thing with your DH (even in you make equal $). Maybe, your stockpiling is giving him this weird idea that you are thinking he's not making enough for you to live on, and you have to take drastic measures (stockpiling).

I think this is definately part of it. Also this:

He grew up very poor and is sensitive about it.

The misconception is that most coupon clippers are poor is just wrong. Yes there are poor people that clip them too, but I think the majority are SMART people trying to save money. One of the way the poor get rich is by learning how to HOLD onto the money they have and SAVE it.

I totally believe that and now have to get him to see that.

We had a talk on the way up to his parents for Easter dinner today. We are not yet on the same page...getting closer though. I tried to explain the whole CVS thing to him. I don't think he was really believing me that I was getting all this stuff basically for free...maybe $1-2 oop.

I think I will start keeping a log of how much I get vs how much I spend.

And Lisa - I want to know how to get free/cheap beer...I think THAT would get his attention.
