My DH thinks I'm nuts and pokes fun at me for couponing. We also have very good paying jobs. I love couponing and getting things for almost, if not, free. He just doesn't get it.
I know he wouldn't go out of his way to spend as much as yours did, but I do try to show him my reciepts and how much I'm actually spending oop once the rebates and coupons are in. I also stockpile a lot of items HE likes and we both use to show him that I'm not going out of my way JUST to spend money. He still doesn't get it though...I think he thinks I'm actually spending more than I'm letting on when I bring home 10 bags full of stuff and tell him I only paid a few dollars, LOL.
