Re: Rules: Forums for Trading: Share the Wealth - MUST READ Forum: Trades: Current Coupons This forum is for the trading of current or non-expired coupons, rebate forms, actuals, gift cards or other items.
** Please note all trading must be done in the appropriate trade forums. The store/deals forums are not for offering coupons for trade.
Please be aware that all trades must be conducted in the trading forums, and all correspondence must be made via private message or email. Any trading messages left as a visitor message will be subject to deletion without further notification.
If you get your Sunday coupons early, you can list them for trade the Thursday before they are released in the Sunday paper no sooner.
If you have over 100 of each coupon listed regularly, you are considered to be running a clipping service. These type of posts belong in our Hot Entrepreneur forum. Find out more about how to become a HCW Hot Entrepreneur HERE . If you occasionally have over 100 of any given coupon, please list it as 100+.
You may post multiple unique new threads per day in the Trades: current coupons and offers forum. However, you can not post more than 5 new posts at a time, bump more than 5 old posts at a time or a combination of the 2. (as long as it is not more than any 5 at one time) This gives everyone a chance to be seen at the top of the trading forum. Having unlimited new posts in our trades forum is a great way for you to be able to post your ever changing offers and needs. It is also a great way to find the hot coupons you need. It is not intended as a way to keep your trades and iso's at the top of the forum all day every day. It is not a way to list out each item you have or need in seperate threads. Posts found to be excessive will be deleted or combined. What is a unique post, what is considered excessive? A unique post is a differnt type of trade post being made at one time. If you are ISO 6 different coupons you can not make 6 individual threads listing each one at one time. You would make one ISO post and put each item in the title and list them out in the body of your thread. If you have several different rebate forms to offer for trade at one time, please put as many as you can fit into one post. Do not list each rebate seperately. If you have several coupons you want to post for trade, put them together. If you have a variety of things to post: Ex. an ISO, a form for trade, a list of non inserts, and maybe an actual you are trying to trade, posting each of them at one time is within the rules. Over the course of the 7-10 days that posts are kept in the trading forum, its is possible and even probable that you will end up with several similar posts. That is within the rules, however, mods may merge them. This helps give everyone a chance to be seen on page 1 of trades and it helps you have less posts overall for bumping purposes.

** if you have a coupon from the bottom of the receipt, you are allowed to trade that part only. If it needs a "call in" to be activated. you must do the call in before offering the coupon for trade.
Any coupon/items you post for trade must actually be "in hand". You cannot trade coupons or actuals that you do not actually have. This includes items that need to be activated. These items need to be activated and ready for use before offering for trade.
You must accurately post what the coupon is for. If something is free WYB, it needs to be listed as such. Do not list it as a "free" coupon. If something is free after mail in rebate, list it as free after MIR not free. If you are not sure how to list, pm one of the forum mods.
We ask that you do not post any portion of the UPC Number of the coupon in your trading posts. A moderator WILL edit this out, and a warning and /or infraction will be issued. You MAY however post if a coupon is DND 5, DND 9, or store only coupon coded (ie starts with a 0) It is illegal to sell coupons. You may however ask for a handling fee for your time to collect, cut, sort, and mail coupons. Listings of multiple haves over 100 of any one item is not allowed. If you have more than 100 of any one item for trade we consider you to be running a buisiness and in that case you may list your business and items for sale in the Hot Entrepreneurs Forum for a nominal fee. We ask that your limit the bumping (replying to your thread to make it "bump" to the top of the page) 3 times every 24 hours. Your original post counts as #1 on day 1. Asking for a post to be deleted and reposting in under 24 hours is also treated as bumping. You may have friends bump your posts as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Editting/updating your OP is not considered bumping. Adding a reply stating that you have updated your OP is bumping. Answering a question is not bumping. Members that are found guilty of not following the bumping rules will receive a warning or infraction as determined by the mod in charge. ** see below for more details on bumping. Violations of these rules will result in a warning or infraction. Here at HCW we strive to offer neat, clean forums. If you no longer have the items in your ad or are no longer in search of the items in your posted ad in the Trades: Current Coupons And Offers Forum, please use change the title of your post to DELETEso that we may remove them in a timely manner. All posts in the Trades: Current Coupons And Offers Forum will be purged from the system by a Super moderator, the head moderator of the trading forums or the forum moderator on the 10th day the thread has been inactive. All posts offering or searching for an item that has expired will be removed from the forum regardless of time in the forum. Any post that has not been bumped at all is subject to removal after 7 days.
PLEASE check feedback for all traders. HCW is not responsible for bad transactions.
Please remember to include your member name in or on your envelope when sending a trade.
If you are a posting trader in this forum, make it a point to regularly search for your posts to see if you have posts that can be removed. you can do this by clicking search, advanced search and entering your member name.
If you no longer need or have an item listed, change the title of that post to delete. although found, traded, gone etc all seem to get the point across, the mods search a few times a day for "delete" posts. that means other words or delete with *** or !!! or ~~~~ do not show up. Please remember that the goal is for everyone to make lots of great trades. Having these rules in place help us achieve that goal every day. Thanks for helping us continue to make the Trades Current Coupons and Offers forum a great place to trade!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Bumping (thanks a sweetheart)- Bumping your existing post is replying to it with the message *bump* (or something similar). This will move your post back to the top of the heap and display it on the front page again.
- Anything that you do to move your post to the top of the page is considered bumping.
- Answering questions about your post is not considered bumping.
- Editing the OP is completely OK --it does not move your post. Making a separate post stating that you have edited your OP IS bumping.
