I am a member of other forums as well and they won't even discuss members' accounts in any way with other members, even if they've been banned or not for breaking the rules. They are respecting the privacy of every member, not just the "good" ones as I said previously.

I do understand what most of you are getting at and do agree there need to be safeguards in place to protect members from others who are out to cheat/steal from them. I just don't think divulging their personal information to every member is the way to do it is all.

I have no issue with the way bad members are determined, or punished for that matter (being banned, etc.). My only issue is the giving out of personal information to every member. I am truly not trying to play the devil's advocate here, or defend anyone. It's the privacy issue that I am concerned about.
