I've been shopping on Black Friday for the past few years. I probably get to my first store around 6 or 7am, and never go for the big-ticket items. I usually go to Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, and Toys R Us because I'm usually looking to buy toys, pajamas, DVDs, etc. I've never had any trouble, but maybe that's due to the fact that I start later than most and am not trying to get the "hot" items.

I agree with previous posters that said: don't grab a cart unless you absolutely have to, play some up-beat music in the car to sing along to, bring water and snacks to keep your energy up and don't forget your ads/shopping lists.

This will be my first time shopping while pregnant (I'll be about 7 months along by then), so hopefully that won't slow me down!
